Its basically telling you that theres another code somewhere in there and if the problem persists you may eventually see the other code. But if the problem goes away so will the 1693. I scanned his truck; he had the code P1693 in his TCM and ECM, but no other codes would clear nor did, and he came right back. I see it as a companion code, but it was the only code present. The P0460 code means Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Malfunction. In other words the fuel gauge didn't move for the last 40 miles or so. The P1693 only means the there is a code stored in the ECM. There might be other codes that don't show in the odometer window.
